I traveled to Medellin with my parents. I arranged all tours and services such as airport transfers with Colombia Travel Operator previous to my arrival and everything was amazing!…

Overview of your tour
Experience Cartagena from some of the first Colombians’ point of view by roaming the quaint avenues of the ciudad amurallada (“walled city”). We have included many of the core must-sees on this walking adventure: the Church of San Pedro Claver, the Palace of Inquisition, the Gold Museum (much like that of Bogotá, yet on a smaller scale), and much more. What truly sets this tour apart is your guide — their knowledge of the old city of Cartagena will prove invaluable as they not only take you to the most fundamental sites but also have insider knowledge of the history and culture that only a local could know. This extremely complex city is best taken with someone who knows where they are and what they are talking about — or you could miss the most quintessential details of this portion of colonial Colombia.
Though this is the classic route that we recommend, please do not hesitate to let us know upon booking what interests you! We are more than happy to alter the itinerary to incorporate other sights that you would like to see or places you would like to visit.

We also have a Russian interpreter that can come along and translate for us. Please indicate your language preference upon booking (languages other than English and Spanish come at an additional cost).
It says that this tour is flexible. What are some other things that we can do on this tour?
Our guides know Cartagena like the backs of their hands! If you are interested in seeing certain things — like art, religious artifacts, or people watching, for example — just speak up. We can put together something special just for you.

We took a private tour with Juan Carlos. Everything was perfect! He has an excellent knowledge about Medellin and speak perfect English and Spanish. We took the metro, metro cable, we went to Botero Plaza and comuna 13. Thank you Juan Carlos and Colombia travel! Now I’m in love with Medellín.
Julio was incredibly knowledgable about Escobar and the history of violence in the city. The message of change and transformation given with the tour was really heartfelt and inspiring. Communal 13 is a must see for anyone travelling to Medellin.
