Day 2

ZIPAQUIRÁ
Start time: 8:00 am
Duration: 5 hours

Discover one of the country’s wonders, located one hour from Bogotá. The municipality of Zipaquirá is home to an unparalleled work of architecture and engineering: an ancient mine transformed into an impressive cathedral, 180 meters underground, where you will visit different stations of the Via Crucis carved in salt stones. You will also enjoy a 3D light and sound show.

Lunch is not included nor time allotted for it; if required, it must be quoted separately.

PEÑOL AND GUATAPÉ TOUR
Start time: 8:00 am
Duration: 8 hours

Our main attraction in Antioquia: The Peñol Rock. This 220-meter monolith has 700 climbing steps you can ascend to enjoy the breathtaking views. You can be the star of an amazing photo session for your social media from the top of the rock to the cobblestone and colorful streets of Guatapé town.

Important notes
The ascent is not recommended for people with reduced mobility, respiratory problems, elderly adults, and children under 5 years old. The trip to Peñol takes approximately 2 hours.

Our driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to take you to José María Córdova International Airport, and upon arrival in Pereira, our driver will be waiting with a sign with your names at Matecaña International Airport to take you to the selected hotel.

Day 5

FULL DAY CITY TOUR MEDELLÍN
Start time: 9:00 am
Duration: 8 hours

How to make the most of a day in Medellín?
Very easy. This is the tour to do it. In the morning, we will visit the city’s must-see landmarks, including a typical lunch. In the afternoon, we will understand the social transformation by visiting one of the most unique neighborhoods with locals who experienced this change firsthand.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
The Antioquia Museum is CLOSED on Sundays and holidays.

Our driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to take you to José María Córdoba International Airport. Upon arrival in Cartagena, our driver will be waiting for you at Rafael Núñez Airport with a welcome sign to then take you to the selected hotel.

Day 8

PRIVATE CITY TOUR

START TIME: 2:00 pm
DURATION: 4 hours

Panoramic tour of the most emblematic sites of the city: San Felipe Castle, La Popa Convent, the vaults, a walk through the old town, and a tour of the modern area of Bocagrande and its bay.

Day 9

ISLA SAN PEDRO DE MAJAGUA
TRANSPORTATION HOTEL – PIER – HOTEL
HORA DE INICIO: 8:00 am
DURACIÓN: Approximately 8 hours

Hotel San Pedro de Majagua is located on Isla Grande, one of the 31 islands that make up the Corales del Rosario National Natural Park, a valuable ecosystem complex. From the “La Bodeguita” pier at 8:00 am, we will transfer by boat enjoying a panoramic view of the archipelago. Then, we will arrive at “Majagua” where you will have free time to enjoy and relax on the beautiful beaches.

IMPORTANT:
Return to the city is approximately between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm.

INCLUDES:

  • Round-trip transportation on shared speedboats (from the pier).
  • Typical Cartagena lunch.
  • Use of the beach with beach chairs.

DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Food and beverage consumption.

This day is designated for transfers from Hotel Dann Cartagena to Rafael Núñez International Airport. Our driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to take you to your vehicle.

  • If the traveler purchases flights, accommodation, or any other activity independently, please note that any issues or unforeseen events related to these services are beyond the responsibility of Colombia Travel Operator, and we are not liable for them.
  • The initial 50% payment will be subject to a 10% administrative fee in case of cancellation, plus any additional administrative costs related to the cancellation.
  • 30 days before the start of services: 20% penalty applies.
  • Up to 15 days before the start of services: 50% penalty applies.
  • Less than 5 days before the service: 100% penalty (non-refundable).
  • Flight Changes & Airport Transfers:
    Any flight changes must be reported at least 3 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Airport waiting time is 1 hour (unless flight changes are reported in advance). After this, additional waiting hours will be charged.
  • If a change in flight schedule or flight number is reported only 1 hour in advance, waiting time will be charged, or the service will be considered a no-show and a new service will need to be scheduled.
  • After 2 hours of waiting with no prior notice, the service will be considered a no-show.

Please be aware of the restrictions for entering Caño Cristales:

  • No application of chemical products (sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.)
  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are not allowed during hikes

The water in the river is clean but not drinkable – do not consume it

Meals not mentioned in the itinerary are not included, so we recommend bringing cash to enjoy local cuisine during your visit

Flights are not included in tour prices because fares vary; we recommend booking them yourself after confirming your trip with us. We’ll gladly help you find the best flight options that match your travel dates

The municipal tax ($40 USD/person) is not included in the package. Please bring cash to pay this directly.
