This day is dedicated to transfers from José María Córdoba International Airport to the Hotel Dix located in the El Poblado area. Our driver will be waiting to take you to the selected hotel.

Day 2

FULL DAY CITY TOUR MEDELLÍN
Start time: 9:00 AM
Duration: 8 hours

How to make the most of a day in Medellín?
Very easy. This is the tour to do it. In the morning, we will visit the must-see iconic sites of the city, including a typical lunch. In the afternoon, we will understand the social transformation by visiting one of the most unique neighborhoods, guided by locals who experienced the change firsthand.

Important notes:
The Antioquia Museum is NOT open on Sundays or holidays.

Day 3

PEÑOL AND GUATAPÉ TOUR

Start time: 08:00 AM
Duration: 8 hours

Our main attraction in Antioquia: the Peñol Rock. This 220-meter monolith has 700 steps you can climb to admire the breathtaking view. You’ll be the star of an incredible photo session for your social media, from the top of the rock to the colorful cobbled streets of Guatapé.

Important Notes:
Climbing the rock is not recommended for people with limited mobility, respiratory issues, older adults, or children under 5 years of age. The trip to Peñol takes approximately 2 hours.

Our driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to take you to José María Córdova International Airport. Upon arrival in Pereira, another driver will be waiting at Matecaña International Airport holding a sign with your names to take you to your selected hotel.

Day 5

CHARM OF THE ANDES – SALENTO & FILANDIA

Start time: 08:00 AM
Duration: 8 hours

The Coffee Cultural Landscape is as rich as its contrasts are endless, and this experience proves it. In the morning, we’ll walk under the tallest wax palms on the planet in the Cocora Valley, ascending the mountains to explore the mystical cloud forests. In this journey, the authentic and unique architecture of charming villages takes center stage.

We’ll visit Salento, exploring its colonial architecture and the vibrant colors of the houses along the main street, up to the town’s lookout point. After a traditional lunch, we’ll head to Filandia, where you’ll walk through its main streets, observe houses made with bahareque (a traditional construction technique), visit scenic viewpoints, and explore the “From Vine to Basket” interpretation center, where you’ll learn about local crafts made from natural fibers used in traditional basket weaving. Return to the starting point.

Day 6

COFFEE MASTER EXPERIENCE

Start time: 09:00 AM
Duration: 4 hours

Just minutes from Pereira, you’ll visit a traditional coffee farm, where the owners express their passion for growing, roasting, and brewing the world’s best coffee. Alongside a coffee master, you’ll walk through the plantations and learn about every step of the process. You’ll enjoy different flavors and preparation methods, stimulating your senses until reaching the roasting station, where you’ll learn how to reach the perfect roast to bring out the best attributes of Colombian coffee. Learn the art of coffee preparation and how each cup becomes an unforgettable experience.

Day 7

TRANSFER OUT PEREIRA

This day will be used for transfers from the hotel to Matecaña International Airport. Our driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby to escort you to your vehicle.

  • Our rates do not include international and/or domestic airline tickets.
  • Transfers between the airport and hotel from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM will incur an additional night surcharge.
  • If the travelers are Colombian nationals, a 19% VAT must be added.
  • The accommodation rates apply to low season. If you wish to upgrade the hotel category, please contact us for more information.
  • If the traveler purchases flights, accommodation, or any other activity independently, please note that any issues or unforeseen events related to these services are beyond the responsibility of Colombia Travel Operator, and we are not liable for them.
  • The initial 50% payment will be subject to a 10% administrative fee in case of cancellation, plus any additional administrative costs related to the cancellation.
  • 30 days before the start of services: 20% penalty applies.
  • Up to 15 days before the start of services: 50% penalty applies.
  • Less than 5 days before the service: 100% penalty (non-refundable).
  • Flight Changes & Airport Transfers:
  • Any flight changes must be reported at least 3 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Airport waiting time is 1 hour (unless flight changes are reported in advance). After this, additional waiting hours will be charged.
  • If a change in flight schedule or flight number is reported only 1 hour in advance, waiting time will be charged, or the service will be considered a no-show and a new service will need to be scheduled.
  • After 2 hours of waiting with no prior notice, the service will be considered a no-show.
  1. Will there be other people with me during the trip?
    No, all of our trips are 100% private. We work closely with each client during the planning phase to build the experience exactly the way you want it.

  3. Are the tours only in English or Spanish?
    We’re very proud of our multilingual team. We offer tours in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian. We can also provide Russian translators if needed.
    Please let us know your preferred language when booking. (Tours in languages other than English or Spanish may incur an additional cost).
  4. Before starting your adventure, we recommend:
    Please be aware of the restrictions for entering Caño Cristales:
    No application of chemical products (sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.)
    Smoking and alcohol consumption are not allowed during hikes
    The water in the river is clean but not drinkable – do not consume it
    Meals not mentioned in the itinerary are not included, so we recommend bringing cash to enjoy local cuisine during your visit
    Flights are not included in tour prices because fares vary; we recommend booking them yourself after confirming your trip with us. We’ll gladly help you find the best flight options that match your travel dates
    The municipal tax ($40 USD/person) is not included in the package. Please bring cash to pay this directly
