Overview of your tour

The mountains’ luscious green is just within reach as soon as we leave Medellín. After just one hour in the car, we arrive at this natural place. Among the old train tracks we’ll stumble upon an old traditional arepa restaurant. Arepas are the very basis of Colombian cuisine, and today, you’ll learn just how we make them — old-style! With the cornmeal between your fingers, experts will guide you in making your very own breakfast. After we squash our hunger, we’ll continue through this gorgeous locale toward the old train tunnels. Another traditional stop awaits us, and it’s time to sample mazamorra, a traditional drink made with corn and milk. Though it may remind you of Corn Flakes, trust us — this is far from it! Savoring these flavors is an appetizer you’re sure to never forget.
