Overview of your tour

Strolling through La Candelaria, visiting the Gold Museum, and admiring various sites like the Quevedo Fountain and Bolívar Plaza are just some of the fundamentals when visiting Bogotá. On this layover tour, you will feel like you came to Colombia and Bogotá on vacation, rather than simply passing through. We’ll collect you at the airport and head into Bogotá for a full day of activities and learning about Colombian culture. We will, of course, make recommendations on where to go, but if you have something specific you want to see, let us know, and we can arrange it. After getting your fill of Bogotá (or at least a taste of this vibrant, lively city), we’ll return you to the airport with plenty of time to get through security and to your gate on time.

Please note that the Gold Museum is closed on Mondays. If your tour happens to be on a Monday, don’t worry — we’ll find another fantastic museum to visit, such as the Botero Museum, or another activity that suits you to fill the time.

Though this is the classic route that we recommend, please do not hesitate to let us know upon booking what interests you! We are more than happy to alter the itinerary to incorporate other sights that you would like to see or places you would like to visit.

Good to know

This tour is private and safe so that you feel comfortable roaming around the city.

The proposed route is more of a recommendation -- just let us know what sort of things you want to see, and we can take you there!

Our guides are local and have been precisely trained to know their way around the city quite well.

We have plenty of room for your carry-on luggage.

Please note that the streets in Bogotá can get quite busy, so we may end up spending a good amount of time in the car.

Medical insurance is included in the price of all of our tours, so we have you covered in the unlikely event of an accident.

Frequently asked questions
Will there be other people on my tour?

All of our tours are private. That is, if you book a certain day and time slot, you (and your group) will be the only one(s) on the tour, provided that you are all included in the same booking.

Do you only give tours in English and Spanish?

We are proud to say that we have an incredible team with a wide array of languages. In total, we can offer tours in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian. We also have a Russian interpreter that can come along and translate for us. Please indicate your language preference upon booking (languages other than English and Spanish come at an additional cost).

It says that this tour is flexible. What are some other things that we can do on this tour?

Our guides know Bogotá like the backs of their hands! If you are interested in seeing certain things — like art, religious artifacts, or people watching, for example — just speak up. We can put together something special just for you.
